I used some thumb tacks to attach them to the fronts of the baskets.
So we’ll see where this little adventure takes us.. Chris is on a roll lately, so this may actually end up being completed this year. Now, wouldn’t that be something!.

Speaking of Chris and the yard, he just came in from the deck saying something about a tree fort… oh my…You know what we’re like really really good at around here?Half-finished projects.Seriously, I’m pretty much the master of half-done, if I do say so myself.. Chris isn’t too bad either, except this time, he screwed up.

I had a post all lined up about how we’ve had these half-built stairs leading up to our back deck for the past two months. He must have been reading over my shoulder cause the guy went and finished the darn steps.

Right out from underneath me and my beloved blog.. Now it’s still a big ol’ mess back there, but it’s definitely not as ridiculous as having just the two bottom steps and then nothing.. Our house had this big long giant humongous ramp across the entire back of the house.
He’s been working at tearing that down to make room for a big ground level patio. We’ve been spending soooo much time out in the garden and I wanted to give a little Summer love to the inside of our house too.. Just a little bit though.
I’m still banning myself from decorating any unrenovated spaces (which is all of them, pretty much) because I make myself completely crazy over it and it never works out quite right. It’s that whole lipstick on a pig thing again..
This is more just freshening up really.I used the same basic layout and materials as my.
